I've been behind a camera for 17 years. Of that, I coached athletes for 8. The best photographers and the best players share one thing — they didn't get good on game day. They got good in the work before anyone was watching.
That's what Developed. Frame by Frame. is built on.
The Studio Quarter is three months of deliberate practice, in a real studio, with someone who knows how to develop people — not just take pictures. You don't need another tutorial. You need someone in your corner who has done this work and knows how to get it out of you.
What's Included
— 2 in-studio shoot days a month together
— 2 virtual editing sessions per month, 8 total over 3 months

Foundation
Gear, light theory, and how to see. Your first studio shoot together. We establish where you are and build from there.
Execution
Directed shoot day and editing workflow. You are shooting with intention now — not just hoping something works.
Portfolio
Final shoot, curation, and 220 finished images. You walk out with something to show.

17 years as a working commercial photographer in St. Louis. Brand work, editorial, events, nonprofit campaigns — I have shot it. I know what clients are actually looking for and what a portfolio needs to do to book them.
8 years coaching athletes taught me something most photography educators do not have — I know how to develop people, not just deliver information. There is a difference. One produces knowledge. The other produces results.
I have my own fully equipped production studio. When we shoot together you are working in a real professional environment — , not someone's living room.
I have coached one photographer 1-on-1 and taught group photo classes. I built this program because I kept seeing the same thing — talented people with no system, no accountability, and no one in their corner who had actually been there.
